Amanda is one of the best teachers I have and will continue having, if she doesn't get bored of putting so much effort into classes with me. A while ago I heard that she was teaching English and I asked her if she would teach me, because I wanted to dust off some of the knowledge I had about English in the past, and since I live in Alicante and she lives in Barcelona, it would have to be online. She said yes and we got down to work. Despite the little effort I have put into the classes from the beginning, with her infinite patience, her kindness and her methods, I have managed to learn something. The classes go by very quickly and they're a lot of fun, and I think that for an older person like myself that finds studying again to be a bit arduous, I think this is the best way.
Amanda started teaching my 10-year-old daughter on Zoom during the COVID-19 lockdown. Despite the difficulty of having classes online, the classes were fun, motivating and approachable — they even played hide-and-seek. When the lockdown was over we began having in-person classes, and I couldn't be happier with how much my daughter has learned and the way Amanda teaches. The classes are fun, motivating, she uses games and songs... spectacular results. The relationship between Amanda and my daughter and family is excellent.

Access a wide variety of materials to successfully pass official English exams (PET, FCE, CAE, IELTS, Selectividad). Practice the reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills you need to get your certification to work, study or live abroad.
Teens
Interactive classes that provide your kids the opportunity to practice speaking English in authentic situations. Lessons are tailored to meet your teen’s needs and goals for the future. School support is also available.
About me
I’m a certified ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher from the United States with more than 15 years experience helping kids, teens, and adults to succeed in English.
I provide the resources you need to practice and improve your communication skills in English. I assess your needs, react to your problem areas, and guide you to extra resources if necessary.
You choose whether you want to have in-person or online classes, and I offer flexible timetables to adapt to your busy schedule. One-to-one or groups (maximum 6 people) are available for all levels. Ages 12 and up.
I have a background in music and creative writing. I speak Spanish, Catalan, and Italian.
